The Tennessee Tech soccer team is staying busy this offseason with an eye on the upcoming campaign behind the additions of three incoming Golden Eagles to next year’s club.
BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – After a tremendous season where the Tennessee Tech women's soccer team won both the Ohio Valley Conference regular-season championship for the fourth-straight season and the conference tournament crown to reach the NCAA field for the first time since 2000, the Golden Eagles added another accolade to their mantle on Tuesday, as the OVC announced that Tech was the recipient of the 2025-26 Team Sportsmanship Award for women's soccer. Voted on by the student-athletes and coaches of the respective sports, the team awards are bestowed upon the Conference squads deemed to have best exhibited the standards of sportsmanship and ethical behavior as outlined by the OVC and NCAA. Included in the areas for evaluation are the conduct of student-athletes, coaches, staff, administrators and fans.

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The wait is over for the Tennessee Tech women’s soccer team as they return to their first NCAA Tournament since 2000 – and they won’t have to travel far as the Golden Eagles will head to Nashville for the postseason’s opening round, taking on Southeastern Conference champion Vanderbilt. Tech (7-6-8) will take on the Commodores at 7 PM Friday night at the Vanderbilt Soccer Complex.
COOKEVILLE, Tenn. -- The Tennessee Tech women's soccer team is heading to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2000 and fans can celebrate with the team and learn who they'll face on Monday. The team will host an NCAA Tournament Selection Show event Monday afternoon at 3 PM as the official bracket is unveiled. The event will be held at the Eagles Nest in the Hooper Eblen Center. The Golden Eagles won their fourth straight regular-season championship to get the top seed in the OVC Women's Soccer Championships. Tech defeated Southern Indiana on penalty kicks in the semifinals, then topped Lindenwood 2-0 on Sunday afternoon to claim the championship.
